The Opportunity
This position works out of our Munich location in the Laralab GmbH.
Your Tasks:
- Lead the delivery of software projects from planning to release, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget targets are met
- Set up project structure, planning, milestones, and reporting for clear execution and transparency
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to refine requirements, clarify scope, and align on roadmap priorities
- Coordinate with Regulatory, Quality, and Clinical teams to ensure software development aligns with medical device standards
- Drive continuous improvement in team processes, communication, and delivery effectiveness
- Establish and maintain strong communication with internal (cross-functional team of 10–15 engineers) and external stakeholders
- Serve as the direct supervisor for engineers (line management responsibility)
Your Qualification:
- Several years of experience managing software projects end-to-end, ideally in medical devices or similar regulated industries
- Proven people management experience (direct reports or team leadership)
- Strong understanding of software life cylce processes (agile, release planning, backlog management)
- Ability to coordinate across engineering, product, quality, and regulatory functions
- Strong communication, structured problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
