Tasks & responsibilities

  • In this role, you will take the lead in shaping the global medical strategy by developing and executing a globally aligned approach that ensures both scientific and commercial impact from early development through the entire product lifecycle in collaboration with focus markets and regions.
  • By contributing medical insights to the early pipeline strategy, you will drive evidence generation and co-create integrated evidence plans that support differentiated positioning, regulatory success, and market access.
  • To inform strategic decisions and optimize outcomes, you will systematically gather and synthesize actionable insights from external stakeholders and internal data sources.
  • Crafting and delivering a compelling, scientifically robust medical narrative will be one of your key responsibilities, ensuring consistency and credibility across all channels and audiences.
  • Adapting medical strategies to evolving scientific, regulatory, and market dynamics will allow you to ensure lifecycle medical excellence and sustained value throughout the asset lifecycle.
  • Building strong relationships with key opinion leaders, scientific societies, and other external partners will enable you to shape the medical landscape and support the dissemination of data.

Requirements

  • Seasoned Global Medical Affairs Leader with few years of global pharmaceutical industry experience, combining deep therapeutic area expertise with strategic and market-oriented thinking, demonstrated success in shaping early development and lifecycle strategies, and in leading impactful cross-regional medical initiatives that drive global value.
  • Evidence & Innovation Champion with a proven track record in driving integrated evidence generation (clinical, RWE, epidemiology) and leveraging digital tools to enhance value creation across development stages.
  • Externally Engaged Influencer skilled in building trusted partnerships with global thought leaders, societies, and stakeholders to shape scientific dialogue and bring external insights into strategic planning.
  • Scientific Communicator & Insight Integrator who crafts compelling medical narratives and translates complex data into impactful communications, while continuously capturing and acting on stakeholder insights.
  • Agile Collaborator & Change Agent who thrives in ambiguity, leads complex cross-functional projects, and challenges conventional thinking to drive innovation and patient-centric outcomes.
