The GFE organization covers a wide range of topics, and for our trainee program you can choose from three focus areas:
Engineering
Engineering at Boehringer Ingelheim is where bold ideas turn into real world impact. As part of Engineering, you’ll help design, optimize, and maintain the advanced systems and facilities that keep our medicines flowing reliably to patients worldwide. Working with state of the art technologies and maintenance strategies, you’ll contribute to safe, sustainable, and future ready operations. This is the place to network, innovate, and help build the technical backbone that enables Boehringer Ingelheim to improve lives - today and for generations to come.
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
Environment, Health & Safety is about enabling people and protecting our future. EHS creates safe, sustainable, and resilient environments where our employees can thrive, and our business can operate with confidence.
Our teams bring together deep expertise in safety management, environmental stewardship, and operational risk mitigation. They develop forward-looking policies, conduct risk evaluations, and drive sustainability initiatives that align with international regulations and our company’s long term aspirations.
EHS fosters a culture where responsibility and awareness are part of everyday work life. With a focus on prevention, education, and continuous improvement, the team helps safeguard our people, reduces our environmental footprint, and supports business practices that respect both communities and the planet.
