The Role and Department

Genmab's QC lab in Ballerup is growing in activities and we are now looking for an Associate Director of QC Support to join our team onsite in Ballerup.


The Associate Director of QC Support, Laboratory Systems and Equipment will be heading up the system team and equipment team, with the main purpose of supporting Genmab's QC operations within early- and late-phase as well as commercial products.


As a key member of the local QC leadership team, you will help shape and build a future-ready QC organization, ensuring scalable, innovative, and inspection-ready capabilities that enable accelerated development, successful product launches, and robust lifecycle management.


The role combines strategic leadership and transformation as a critical business enabler through digitalization, advanced analytics, and modern analytical technologies.

You will be joining a team of ambitious and professional colleagues within related fields, who can help you settle into your role, and keep the spirit high while performing the important tasks for our laboratory.


You will report to the Senior Director, Quality Control Lab.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the E-System Team providing business understanding, clear priorities and coordination of tasks
  • Ensure a team environment that supports engagement, wellbeing and career development opportunities
  • Develop, implement and maintain strategy and roadmap Laboratory Systems in Genmab's QC
  • Ensure validation of relevant IT systems for the QC laboratory as System Owner
  • Develop and manage the performance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact across functional teams and external vendors
  • Drive a culture of quality excellence, LEAN and continuous improvements
  • Direct, guide, and monitor documentation and evolution of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Support and participate in audits and regulatory agency inspections
  • Ensure that QC employees comply with required safety and cGMP procedures and requirements
  • Responsible for being compliant with Genmab's quality system

Requirements

  • It is expected that you hold a Master's degree in science or a related technical area
  • Preferably 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or medical device industry
  • Strong experience working in a cGMP environment with knowledge of laboratory IT systems, QC equipment, testing, sampling and release.
  • Experienced people leader
  • Experience in working in cross-functional teams to accomplish shared goals
  • Strong experience working in analytical and regulatory requirements
  • Significant applied experience in laboratory operations, including development and adherence to quality metric programs

The proposed gross annual/hourly base salary range for this position, in the primary location, based on a full time schedule is:

DKK734.400,00---1.101.600,00

The final salary offer will depend on several factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
