Site Budget and Contract Specialist

Site Budget and Contract Specialist plays a key role in the successful start-up of clinical trials by managing site contracts from negotiation through execution. Working closely with Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance, and investigative sites, you will ensure timely contract finalization, site payments, regulatory compliance, and transparent contract tracking to support study milestones and operational excellence.


Manage the full contract lifecycle, from review and negotiation through execution and close-out.

  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure timely processing of site payments.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate contractual risks and challenges.
  • Track and maintain contract documentation and status in applicable systems, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.
  • Provide timely and accurate status reports to study teams and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance, and Management to support efficient contract execution and study timelines.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and quality standards.

Your Profile:

You will have a strong foundation in clinical research, with the experience to work independently and guide others.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field
  • Extensive experience in clinical study coordination or clinical trial management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and GCP.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
