As a Shutdown Planner within the Maintenance & Reliability team, you'll work across multiple functions to develop integrated shutdown schedules, coordinate resources and contractors, manage critical path activities, and drive continuous improvement in shutdown performance. This is a Mon-Fri days position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimise shutdown schedules, coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams to ensure safe and successful execution.
- Consolidate maintenance, engineering, validation, and production activities into a single achievable shutdown plan.
- Identify critical path activities, resource requirements, risks, and dependencies to maximise work completion and minimise downtime.
- Coordinate materials, spare parts, contractors, and external services to ensure full readiness ahead of shutdown execution.
- Lead planning and execution meetings, monitor progress against plan, and drive resolution of issues that could impact delivery.
- Conduct post-shutdown reviews, capturing lessons learned and implementing improvements to enhance future performance.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling within a manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, or FMCG environment.
- Strong project management expertise with experience managing multiple overlapping schedules and turnaround activities.
- Sound technical understanding of maintenance activities, plant equipment, contractor management, and permit-to-work systems.
- Experience using SAP, MS Project, or equivalent planning tools.
