We are searching for the best talent for our Senior Events & Tradeshow Specialist (m/f/d) position in Aachen.

We are looking for an experienced individual for the position of Senior Events & Tradeshows Specialist (m/f/d) who will take responsibility for our national and international events and congresses aimed at healthcare providers, lead a team, and further develop the event strategy. This role includes operational project responsibility and execution as well as strategic direction, process and system ownership, and budget and results accountability.

Exciting responsibilities include:

• Strategic event planning and project management : Overall responsibility for project management and operational delivery of national and international events

• Budget management : Budget planning, monitoring and cost optimization in compliance with global financial policies

• Logistics management : Management of external vendors, agencies and suppliers, including contract negotiations and SLA management

• Coordination and communication : Regular communication and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across regions

• Process and system ownership : Further development and standardization of processes in eMarketplace, APEX and Salesforce, as well as checklists

• Data tracking and reporting : Post-event follow-up, analysis and performance measurement, and creation of reports (ROI, lead tracking, event performance) for quarterly and annual planning

• Healthcare compliance and legal requirements : risk management and adherence to compliance, safety and legal requirements for events

Requirements:

• University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a comparable field

• Several years of solid experience in planning and executing trade shows and events – ideally in MedTech

• Initial leadership experience and budget / P&L responsibility

• Strong project management and organizational skills; experience handling multiple simultaneous, complex projects

• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong negotiation skills and a confident presence with internal stakeholders and external partners

• Hands-on mentality, high resilience and willingness to travel (national/international)

• Very good German and English skills; additional languages such as French are an advantage

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Very good Office 365 skills, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of Ariba (eMarketplace, APEX, Lynx) and Salesforce is desirable

• Passion for helping patients and improving quality of life

Please note that this is a fixed term role.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 62.500 to 97.865 EUR.
