The Position

The Internal Value Chain (IVC) for digital solutions team acts as a linking pin across the organization to support lifecycle teams and affiliates in the commercialization of digital solutions. IVC is enabling a leading, profitable and scalable digital business with back-office effectiveness and automation throughout the lifecycle of a digital product.

Your Team
As the Global Capability Owner Back Office Integration, you are responsible for designing business processes and translating complex business requirements into actionable needs for IT and domain partners. Beyond strategic design, you will manage critical run-phase operations and provide level 3 support for your domain. By balancing high-level process governance with hands-on operational troubleshooting, you ensure a seamless, automated integration between digital product contracts/subscriptions and global back-office systems.

Responsibilities | What to Expect

  • Lead current & future efforts to design, built, develop, deploy and automate processes & solutions allowing Roche Diagnostics to act like a software company

  • Reporting to the chapter lead, accountable to implement the E2E strategy in collaboration with all product teams, domain process teams, IT and affiliates

  • Drive future capabilities required for a software company

  • Drive integration of product world with back office environment

  • Owns E2E process globally, across the division

  • Act as role model and coach within and outside the network

  • Deliver 3rd level support in case of operational issues (investigation and resolution)

  • Provide process expertise and knowledge transfer to key stakeholders (deployment & services team, key users, etc)

Main responsibilities

Business Process Strategy

  • Responsible for the implementation of the E2E-BPM-Strategy and for the definition of guardrails with the chapter lead with a strong focus on customer experience

  • Responsible for ensuring a holistic solution including processes, authorizations, guardrails,technology in line with the E2E BPM-Strategy

  • Strongly drives continuous improvement and automation

  • Stringent change and stakeholder management across the organization (all domains, globally & locally) to ensure a common ground

Business Process Design

  • Responsible for the design of global State-of-the-Art processes supporting a software based business

  • Strong collaboration across all partners, to ensure excellence within the respective domain, while ensuring a simple & holistic E2E process

  • Drive a maximum of simplification, standardization, harmonization, automation and efficiency

  • Take the customer at the center of every design

  • Ensure corresponding metrics / KPIs are embedded within the processes, monitored and targeted improvements are being triggered

Business Process Governance

  • Drives prioritization and trade off decisions in line with the outlined strategy

  • Ensure stringent process adoption is monitored regularly with KPIs

  • Build up and keep updated relevant process documentation and SOPs

Program & Project Management

  • Leadership and participation in program & projects on global level

  • Ownership for the realization of the strategic roadmap

Agile leadership and coaching

  • Coaching within and outside of the E2E network and especially colleagues within the own organization

  • Act as role model for new ways of working

  • Drive agile mindset

Since the Software Monetization Platform has transitioned into its "run" phase, this role carries a significant operational mandate to ensure the platform remains stable, compliant, and integrated with the broader supply chain:

  • Level 3 Support: Serve as the final point of escalation for complex issues, performing deep-dive analysis and correcting discrepancies.

  • Revenue & Financial Integrity: Safeguard revenue continuity and ensure all digital transactions adhere to global financial compliance standards.

  • Cross-Functional Troubleshooting: Partner with RDI Supply Chain Coordinators to resolve technical edge cases and provide expert testing support for new digital product features.

Qualifications | Who you are

  • Bachelor in Business Economics and / or Business Informatics / Information Technology and / or any corresponding study or practical experience

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Fluent in English, additional languages beneficial

  • Proven expertise in SAP SD and FI is a must. Experience in MM is a plus.

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in:

    • commercial and/or finance functions

    • business process management

    • service operations

    • project support

  • Experience in international and intercultural work environments

  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving mindset

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong methodological skills (e.g. SAFe, LEAN, SCRUM, ...)

  • Success in driving a culture dedicated to customer focus, compliance and continuous improvement

  • Deep Understanding of Diagnostics, Digital / Software Market, E2E processes and related systems

Willingness to travel: ​ International travel might be required to perform the job effectively (up to 30%)
