As Technical Operations Leader - Europe Third Party within External Manufacturing and Supply Small molecules Europe, you’ll experience a positive work environment while leading new API sourcing and DP technology transfer initiatives that ensure the quality and continuity of our GenMed portfolio.

Sanofi’s External Manufacturing and Supply Small molecules Europe is responsible for CMO activities related to small molecules products, ensuring reliable production and supply of General Medicines through partnerships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations, optimizing our external network to deliver quality medicines to patients worldwide.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage API sourcing selection and qualification projects with external partners

  • Lead cross-functional technology transfer teams while maintaining technical ownership

  • Provide technical expertise to routine teams and external partners

  • Develop and execute process validation strategies ensuring regulatory compliance

  • Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively

  • Consolidate timings, budgets and resources for the project under your responsibility

  • Drive continuous improvement through process enhancement and systematic lessons learned

About you

Education:

  • Chemist, Pharmacist, Pharmaceutical process engineer

Experience:

  • Min. 5 years of Pharma industry experience, preferably in small molecule area, in at least one field: analytical, chemistry, technology transfer, process engineering, CMC development

  • Managing cross-functional teams in international environment (experience in managing CMO is an asset)

Soft and technical skills:

  • Capacity to manage multiple projects

  • Leadership

  • Understanding of scientific, technical, quality, regulatory and commercial aspects

  • Communication skills

  • Proactivity

Languages:

  • English (written and verbal fluency required); French is a plus

La fourchette salariale pour ce poste est:€54 400,00 - €72 533

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
